American Red Cross Blood Drive
Several candidates for the Joliet Junior College Board of Trustees will participate in a forum, hosted by Student Government and the Office of Student Activities, on Thursday, March 28.
The forum will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. in the U-Building Auditorium at Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road. Students, employees and the public are invited to attend.
The consolidated election takes place on Tuesday, April 2. Eight candidates are vying for three seats on the board, each of which carry six-year terms. Candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order.

JJC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, all of whom are elected from within the seven-county college district for at-large, staggered, six-year terms. A student representative, appointed annually, is a non-voting member of the board. Current Board of Trustees members include Chair Bob Wunderlich, Vice Chair Maureen Broderick, Secretary Mike O’Connell, Patty Deiters, John (Jake) Mahalik, Alicia Morales, Dan O’Connell, and Student Trustee Alonso Rodriguez. Both Mahalik and O’Connell are seeking re-election.
