The Joliet Junior College Communications and Marketing Division took home six Medallion Awards at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 3 conference Oct. 28-30 in Toledo, Ohio.
The college won top honors for its new website, which debuted in December 2017. The website was developed in partnership with the Information Technology Division and digital firm BarkleyREI. It serves as the college’s digital front door, guiding prospective students and their families through JJC’s more than 180 programs and career pathways, plus displays the latest campus news and events.
JJC took home two silver Medallions for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 Connections Magazine, as well as in the Radio Advertisement category. It received bronze for Excellence in Writing, Social Media or Online Marketing Campaign, and Viewbook.
There were over 350 total submissions across 38 categories.
“This is not only a shared team success but validation by our peers in the higher education industry, and peers outside of our industry who participated in the judging process in acknowledging the good work we’re doing,” said Kelly Rohder-Tonelli, executive director of communications and marketing. “I am extremely proud of all our team has done to make us an award-winning division.”
