Advanced Vascular Sonography Certificate

To apply for the JJC Advanced Vascular Sonography Certificate all students must meet the following requirements:

Be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) or Radiologic Technology (Rad Tech) Program (if learned sonography on the job).

Submit an official transcript from the college where the DMS/Rad Tech degree has been obtained (no need to submit if graduated from JJC).

Successfully pass the “Sonography Principles and Instrumentation” (SPI) examination prior to student’s enrollment in the certificate.

Currently hold a non-revoked ARDMS credential(s) in any specialty other than Vascular Technology.
