
Nursing Program Information Session
Joliet Junior College (JJC) will proudly celebrate the class of 2025 during its 109th commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16 at 4 p.m. in the Event Center on Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road. The ceremony will recognize graduates from summer 2024 and fall 2024, along with prospective graduates from spring 2025 and summer 2025. More than 520 students are expected to participate.
Doors to the Event Center will open at 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early as entry will be restricted after 3:45 p.m. until all graduates are seated.
“We are incredibly proud of JJC’s class of 2025,” said Bob Morris, dean of student development. “Their dedication and perseverance have brought them to this milestone, and seeing them cross the stage in front of their loved ones will be an unforgettable moment. This celebration marks the beginning of their next chapter, and we are honored to share in their success.”
The ceremony will feature remarks from Bob Marcink, English, philosophy and world languages professor, and Olivia Arias, a member of the class of 2025, who will serve as the faculty and student commencement speakers, respectively. In addition, Mary Lee will be recognized with the Student Service Recognition Award for outstanding involvement on campus and in the community.
