Steel Band Concert

The JJC Steel Band, under the direction of Adam Cowger, will perform on authentic oil drums that have been painstakingly crafted and tuned into beautiful, fully chromatic instruments called steel pans. Come enjoy your favorite Soca, calypso, reggae, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban and classical music, as well as wonderful arrangements of popular hits.

The Bolingbrook High School Steel Band, directed by Mr. Avery Attzs, will open the concert and join the JJC Steel Band for a mass steel band number. Mr. Attzs will also perform as a guest soloist with the JJC Steel Band. This event will also be live streamed on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.
