Job Description Job Title: Payroll Specialist | Shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm |Pay Rate: $19/HR Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review staff agency daily attendance (T&A’s) for accuracy Review and submit to DC management for approval for company attendance reports (T&As) weekly. Oversees pullers incentive report to ensure accuracy. Process company Payroll through Paychex Flex / bi-weekly, must meet deadline Prepares staff agency and company weekly payroll cost reports for Admin- Accounting on a weekly basis, must meet deadlines Provide customer service for employees - on payroll related inquiries and requests. Reviews, researches and approves agency Payroll Action Request (PAR), as needed Audit and approve weekly agency invoices. Assist with other job-related duties as needed. |

Education and/or Experience: 1-2 years’ experience with Payroll or similar background preferred Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required Excel and all Microsoft automation a must Reasoning Ability: Must be able to interact with all levels of management Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills Knowledge of distribution center operations a plus PayChex Flex knowledge a plus Strong sense of teamwork Able to adhere to strict deadlines |
