We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the operations team as a Fleet Manager. As a Fleet Manager, your key responsibility is to execute the daily processes and activities involved in all aspects of a truckload shipment. This multi-faceted position has you accountable for managing a group of drivers and executing dispatch functions, along with ensuring customer service commitments are being met. This position broadens your industry knowledge, which in turn drives your career to limitless opportunities and positions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Offer guidance to contracted drivers on the best ways to maximize their earnings, while delivering a high level of customer service Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers Communicate with freight brokers providing exceptional customer service |

Minimum 2 years of previous experience managing tractor-trailer drivers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to multitask efficiently Prior experience with Samsara is a plus Professional attitude and team mindset The ability to handle emergencies – to stay calm and make effective decisions quickly Experience with DAT, Internet Truckstop, and other load boards |
