Summer 2024 Event Lineup

May

Wednesday, May 22, we will be having a *meeting where we make new decorations for our new exhibit in the library. That's right. The Peace Crane Project is coming down this summer to make way for a beautiful Reclaimed Canopy.

June

Wednesday, June 16, we will be *meeting to learn basic survival training and doing a walkthrough of our beautiful natural areas! If you're interested in finding out useful skills for the wild and learning about flora and fauna around you, we've got you covered.

 

Wednesday, June 26, we will be collaborating with Office of Student Activities to bring you an event we call "a Piece of JJC." Come build a terrarium with us from 11:00 to 1:00 in Picnic Grove!

July

Wednesday, July 10, we will *meet and listen to a guest speaker teach about foraging and edible plants!

 

Wednesday, July 24, we will be meeting in Picnic Grove once again to bring you "Hammock Haven 2: Hammock Havoc." That's right! We're following up our super successful "Hammock Haven" event from last summer with another day of fun in the sun and swinging in the shade! Wear something you wouldn't mind getting wet, because there will be reusable water balloons!
