Administration
Joliet Junior College's leadership plays a pivotal role in guiding the college into
the future. Learn more about our team and their roles and responsibilities by selecting

The president is appointed by the board of trustees and is the chief executive officer
of the college.
JJC is directly governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, all of whom are elected
from within the district for six-year terms.
Dr. Dennis Haynes, V.P. Academic Affairs
This division encompasses all academic departments, extended campuses and high schools, and Community and
Economic Development.
David Agazzi, V.P. Business Services
This division encompasses the administrative offices and processes of the college, such as the cafeteria,
bookstore, service center, budgeting/bid processes, accounts payable, custodial, grounds, maintenance, mailroom,
environmental health/safety, and campus police and safety.
Dr. Betsy Oudenhoven, V.P. Student Development
This division encompasses the offices that provide services to students, including athletics, financial aid,
counseling and advising, registration, records, transcript evaluations, student activities, disability services,
multicultural student resources, placement testing, and career services.
Dr. Ryan Smith, V.P. Institutional Advancement and Research
This division encompasses the offices of institutional advancement, communications and external relations,
marketing and publications, and institutional research.
Dwayne Cable, V.P. Learner Support and Technology Services
This division encompasses the library, IT support and help desk services, media services
and reprographics, and the academic computing labs, and responsible for securing the campus computing
environment.
