Greenhouse


JJC's state-of-the-art greenhouse, a teaching facility and community resource, is the first LEED-registered greenhouse at a community college in the nation.

Overview

With an academic and business atmosphere, we are constantly challenging ourselves and students to produce the best annual and perennial crops possible.

Interested in what is going on at the greenhouse?

  • Email carmine.napolitano@jjc.edu to be added to the greenhouse list 
  • You will receive notices of sales, special events and workshops at the greenhouse!

Typical Hours

The greenhouse is closed in the summer months while we concentrate on outside areas.  The greenhouse reopens for the fall and spring semesters.  

Our hours are 9 - noon and 1 to 4 pm.

    Lisa Perkins and the Horticulture Club have arrangements for sale and Make and Takes during some of the major holidays. Please check often for new sales! No orders are taken until the holiday season.
